Zara Gladman is a writer, director, producer and performer whose viral comedy creations – including everyone’s favourite Glasgow West End Mum – have been viewed by millions. She has written for TV, radio and online (BBC Scotland, Channel 4) and her debut live show sold out the Oran Mor three times, earning her a nomination for the prestigious Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award. On stage she embraces a multimedia approach, from stand-up to 60s-inspired musical comedy, film and sketch. Gladman is a recovering scientist, with a PhD in crayfish.

In 2025 Zara's Comedy Sketch Show Good for Her, aired on BBC Scotland and iPlayer, with her Live Edinburgh Fringe show selling out to five star reviews. In 2026 Zara has been both acting and writing for BBC Radio 4 and Radio Scotland.
